Malcolm Poynter (b. 1946), Resin Sculpture in Glass Display Case, Titled 'Head' (English).

Malcolm Poynter was born 1946 in London. He studied at Goldsmiths College of Art, and at the Royal College of Art. He has exhibited at the Treadwell Gallery, including six one man exhibitions. Since the seventies, Malcolm Poynter has been and influential and inspirational presence in the British art world. During the early part of his career, he earned money as a visiting sculpture lecturer, often called in by Art schools to give stimulating impetus to lethargic sculpture students with one of his charismatic and inspiring tirades.
