Circa 1890 to 1920, Rare Collection of 14 Millinery, Carved Wooden Heads / Wig Stands - German, French and English.
 
These handsome, antique, wooden hat or wig blocks would have originally been used by milliners to make and shape hats and/or wigs.

One of the Heads has R.St stamped on its forehead, an abbreviation for Regent Street, London, which was arguably then (and still today) one of the most high-end destinations for tailored clothing; with its grand architecture and elegant shops.
 
Six heads also include turned wooden stands. Shelving unit not included.
