ABOUT Heinz Bentele:
Heinz Bentele (1902 - 1983) was active in Germany and was widely known for his religious sculptures. He studied at the Kölner Kunstschule (Cologne School of Arts and Crafts), and later studied under Wallner in Vienna. His bronze sculptures have become highly sought after by art, antique and religious collectors; with pieces selling through Christie’s, Bonhams and other auction houses in London and Europe.

Albertus Magnus, OP (<1200 – 1280), also known as Saint Albert the Great, Albert of Swabia, Albert von Bollstadt, or Albert of Cologne, was a German Dominican friar, philosopher, scientist, bishop and an Order of Preachers (OP). He is considered as one of the greatest medieval philosophers and thinkers.
