C. 1920, Pair of Chesterfield Armchairs, Upholstered in Red Oxblood Rexine (English).
This stunning, and very comfortable, pair of chesterfield armchairs came from the parlour of a manor house in North Yorkshire where they have been in the same family since 1920/30. It was described as 'the good room', only used on special occasions, and as such the furniture over the past 100 years has had minimal use; which explains the excellent condition these chairs are in.
Upholstered in Red Oxblood Rexine on a Carved Oak Base and Legs which sit on Brass Castors and Porcelain Wheels.
CONDITION:
Very minimal scratches to legs. No rips, tears or scratches to rexine.
PROVENANCE:
From a manor house in North Yorkshire.
