Pair of Grand Tour carved alabaster sleeping lions after the originals by Antonio Canova (1757-1822) for the tomb of Pope Clement XIII, St.Peter's Bascilia, Rome 1792.

CONDITION:

No major cracks or chips. Stunning antique patina.

Purchased from a private collection of a Gentleman in Napoli, Italy.
