An English, Circa 1860, Victorian, Mahogany Cheval Mirror on Barley Twist Supports, Platform Base and Brass Castors.
Incorporating a moulded mahogany frame, the rectangular mirror can be adjusted to suit your preferred viewing angle. The mirror retains its original plate, with foxing, and retains its original backboard. Turned knobs, which control the angle adjustment when turned, also serve to secure the mirror frame to the turned side supports. The vertical supports raise up from a sturdy base, which features a shaped stretcher.
CONDITION:
Wear commensurate with age. Mirror plate has slight foxing. Frame and stand boasts its original polish with fantastic colour and patination.
