Écorché prints by Jacques Lavallée are fine anatomical crayon-manner and stipple prints, produced in Toulouse after drawings by painter Jacques Gamelin. Created between 1778 to 1779, these works often appeared in the Nouveau recueil d'ostéologie et de myologie (New Collection of Osteology and Myology), depicting musculature in dramatic, detailed poses.
CONDITION:
Wear commensurate with age. No major damage.
