19th C. Carved, Polychrome, Wooden Santos (Italian), Modelled as a Male Figure, having Life-Like Painted Face and Hands, with Articulated Arms.
 
A very good, early 19th Century, life size articulated carved wood male figure. The life like head and hands are gessoed and very well painted, The wooden body is of good colour and patina. The whole figure standing on a hand painted rectangular shaped base.

Wear commensurate with age. Few slight chips to gesso visible in the photos.
