Saint Eligius is the Patron Saint of Horses, and those who work with them. He is also the Patron Saint of Goldsmiths, Metalworkers, Coin Collectors, Veterinarians, and the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME), a corps of the British Army.
Religious statue of Saint Eligius from the 16th century in full wood found in Southern France. This very rare find has a beautiful patina due to its old age. The intricate carvings on the robe showcase the artisan's talent, with every fold. The natural wood grain adds a touch of warmth and authenticity to this unique piece of relic art.

Wear commensurate with age. Two fingers and thumb missing from right hand.
